By building a device donation network and engaging the community

Fixy is working with Donate IT to expand the network of tech drop-off points across the south west, making it even easier for the community to donate their unused devices.

Fixy attends events in the community promoting fixing, reusing, and recycling, and connecting residents with local repair groups, reuse initiatives and recycling options.

Fixy helps local repair groups by publicising their events, connecting them with potential volunteers and driving footfall from passers by.

Fixy hosts amnesties to collects smart tech (e.g. phones, laptops and tablets) and offers a secure chain of custody, passing devices on to Donate IT - our tech partner who securely data wipe and refurbish devices.
